Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Castle Trading LLC ("Castle Trading", "we", "us") collects through tradingwithcastle.com and our emails, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Email signup. When you join our email list we store your email address, the page you signed up from, the date and time, and the version of the consent wording you agreed to.
- Unsubscribe records. If you unsubscribe, we record the date and method so that we can honor your choice.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request in server logs used for security and operations. To prevent abuse of the signup form, we keep short-lived rate-limit counters that store a one-way keyed hash rather than your email address; these expire within 48 hours.
- Data that stays on your device. Game progress (XP), simulator trades, and journal notes are saved in your own browser's local storage and are never sent to us. We also store a single local setting so the signup prompt does not reappear after you close it.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this site.
How we use information
- To send the welcome email and the educational content you signed up for.
- To send updates about Castle Trading, including our memberships and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To protect the site against abuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that operate the service on our behalf:
- Render hosts the website and database in the United States.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Microsoft hosts our business mailbox if you reply to us.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces; Google receives your IP address when the fonts load.
- Whop processes membership purchases. Payment details are collected and governed by Whop under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your full card number.
- Discord hosts our community under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe we keep your address and unsubscribe date as a suppression record, solely to make sure you are not emailed again. If you ask us to delete your data entirely, we will do so, but we will then have no record that you opted out.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing castle@tradingwithcastle.com with the subject "unsubscribe".
- Access, correction, or deletion. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor requests as that law requires.
Security
All traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS, the database is reachable only from our private hosting network, and access to it is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Castle Trading is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email.
